In my final year, my group mates and I did a website. We really had a tough time doing programming. Programming was not our favorite module as it requires more brain work. One of the thing which we enjoyed doing most in this project was designing of web banners and posters. All we had to do was use Photoshop and start designing. As you can see from the images above, I had to start from scratch. Ideas and creativity are also needed here, in order to capture a viewer's attention.

Similar to my Major Project, my internship involves doing a website too. My role was being in-charge of designing. I had to design web banners and posters for the company's website. This company is a retail company which sells winter wears. Therefore, to make their products being broadcast, they established their own website.

Character Design

Character Name: Amethyst

Characteristics: Wolf, Triangular, Feathery

Story: Amethyst is a female wolf. She was named after the color of her body. Amethyst is a royal color. The color itself gives humankind a sense of peace. Amethyst lives in the mountains. She has triangular wings like a bird that is filled with layers of triangular-shaped liked feathers to keep her warm. The wings give her the strength to fly and fight enemies in order to protect humankind. Her body and her head have triangular-shaped liked feathers too. The feathers around her head symbolizes that she is a royal wolf which everyone respects. Also, her tail forms the shape of a triangle and has feathers at the end of it. Although the tail seems harmless, Amethyst is able to use it to fight back. Her tail is as powerful as her wings.

 

Typographic Pattern

Choose an alphabet to form an image.

Rationale: I chose the letter E. The font type which I had chosen was Chocolate Box Decorative. The reason for choosing this font type was because it looks simple but it has a sense of elegance. That is why I made it into a picture of a lady filled with elegance. She looks simple and yet, at the same time, she is elegant.

This module was an extra module which I chose. It is called Ideation. It requires creativity, time and effort when it comes to designing. It taught us how to broaden our imagination and ideas, no matter how simple the subject is. I really had fun doing this module out of all the other modules I had learn. That is why I love Art!

This module which I had learn throughout my 1st and 2nd years in poly is called Communication Skills (CMSK for short). It teaches us all about the working life, how we apply these skills to the working world. We were thought how to create a brochure. By creating a brochure, we need to know what are the important factors that will be displayed on the pages, so that it captures the reader's attention. In this case, planning and information must be right. 

The brochure shown above, was done by me, together with 2 of my other classmates. We did a brochure on Information Gadget for elderly users. Thus, the brochure should contain these information - main title, overview, benefits, technical aspects, how it works, conclusion, and contact us.

This is my very first 3D modeling project when I was in 2nd year poly. Initially, I had a hard time doing it because it requires creativity and technique. For doing this, I had to use a software called Autodesk Maya. The software has many functions for different purposes. You can create an object, shape an object, color an object, etc. After some practice, I finally did a proper modeling, which requires time and effort too.
